Linda is a registered developmental psychologist who specialises in working with children with developmental disabilities and their families. As a university academic, her working life has involved teaching and research in areas such as motivation, self-regulation, fussy eating, and disabilities such as Down syndrome, autism and rare chromosome disorders. Linda is particularly interested in cross-cultural research about women's lives.
She is the mother of two adult sons and grandmother to two beautiful little girls and one beautiful little boy. She shares her house with two little dogs: Zebedee and Delilah.
Linda enjoys travelling, music, reading, cooking and board games. She describes herself as a fairly determined person who generally has a very positive outlook on life.
